I’m sure it’s not just me who is always up for some home makeover and we don’t even need the excuse to do so, if only we had the money to do so whenever we get that urge. Over the years of this urge, I’ve come to learn it’s not just about being mindful of your expenses but also learning how to get a sort of purchasing philosophy of your own and not just buy for the sake of buying. After getting the wish to do a makeover on a large scale, I was reminded by my wallet of how high up in the sky my wish had gone and I needed to descend from dreamland and ask myself the question: What is it that I use mostly at home and needs some freshening up?

Being a couch potato the answer was obvious: I had to get take care of the couch section in my interior. So, what I’m saying is my makeover got down to the purchase of a couch. When it comes to furniture couches are the basis, simply because of the focal point they have in a room and the role they have in the ambiance. In other words, even if you don’t think that significant of a change, it’s got quite an impact. With such vast choices nowadays, it won’t be that difficult for you to find the couch your home is lacking. I was amazed by the positive vibe I’d created when I replaced my worn out couch (or what looked like it) with a new one. Its colourful upholstery turned out to be just what my interior décor was missing to be lively again, not just reserved for my Netflix binge-watching but also for some quality time hanging out with loved ones – yes, I still prefer to stay in touch with them tête-à-tête instead of through the social networks. Pieces of furniture couches particularly are what make a space look complete. Even though I lost my childhood ability to teleport myself from the couch straight to the bedroom once asleep, I love spending relaxing time taking naps.
